Camp Muir - Mt Rainier, September 2010

So this is 11 Months in a row, Best Skiing I've had since May, Thats for sure. There was about 6" of new snow at the top of Muir and the Hike was redonkulously gorgeous. I brought my new Point and Shoot Canon, which weighs like 25lbs less than all my Nikon gear and takes pictures at about 90% the quality so I was happy.

4am, Time for coffeez

Sunrise hits Rainier on the drive up.

On the hike up saw a bear from about 400 yards away, that was close enough

Got the first view of Mt St Helens at about 6000ft

Looking up the trail towards Muir

It was so quiet all you could hear is the waterfalls and the Ice Cracking and falling, it was pretty nice.
